Building Excellence & Trust with Quality

I am an MEP & Civil Projects, Design and Strategic Operations Leader with 18+ years of experience, with a career built around transforming engineering intent into successfully delivered projects.

My professional journey has given me an integrated understanding of MEP engineering, Civil & Infrastructure coordination, multidisciplinary design, project planning, procurement, execution, testing & commissioning, commercial management and P&L performance. This enables me to look at a project not as a collection of individual disciplines, but as one coordinated engineering and business ecosystem.

My career began with Larsen & Toubro, where I developed my foundation in project execution, quality, safety, resource planning and site coordination. It later expanded internationally through my experience in the United Kingdom, where I managed projects from concept through handover and developed broader exposure to MEP coordination, costing, scheduling, vendor management, quality systems and stakeholder management.

Since 2015, my professional journey has progressively evolved into senior leadership responsibilities across MEP & Civil Projects, Design, Planning, Execution, Strategic Operations, Client & Consultant Management, Vendor Management, Team Leadership, Cost Optimisation and P&L Accountability.

INTEGRATING CIVIL, MEP & DESIGN

I believe successful projects begin long before construction starts.

Civil interfaces, architectural requirements and MEP systems must be coordinated at the design and planning stage, because decisions made there directly influence constructability, quantities, procurement, rework, programme, cost and ultimately project profitability.

My approach therefore connects:

Civil & Infrastructure → MEP Design → Multidisciplinary Coordination → Constructability → BOQ & Budget → Procurement → Execution → Project Controls → Testing & Commissioning → Handover → P&L Performance

This integrated perspective allows me to bridge the gap between design office, project site and commercial objectives.

DELIVERY WITH PREDICTABILITY

For me, project success is not measured simply by completing construction.

It is measured by the ability to deliver with predictability — maintaining control over design, approvals, procurement, interfaces, resources, productivity, quality, safety, cost and schedule throughout the project lifecycle.

My leadership philosophy is therefore:

Design Right → Coordinate Early → Plan Realistically → Procure Strategically → Execute Efficiently → Monitor Continuously → Commission Systematically → Handover Successfully

P&L — A MANAGEMENT PRACTICE, NOT JUST A RESPONSIBILITY

I do not see P&L as a financial statement reviewed after project completion.

I see it as a project management discipline that begins with the first engineering decision.

Because:

  • Design influences quantities.
  • Civil–MEP coordination influences rework.
  • Specifications influence procurement.
  • Procurement influences cost.
  • Planning influences resources.
  • Productivity influences labour efficiency.
  • Schedule influences overheads.
  • Variations influence commercial exposure.
  • Quality influences lifecycle risk.

And collectively, these determine project margin and profitability.

That is why my project management approach integrates:

Technical Governance + Project Controls + Commercial Intelligence + P&L Discipline

My focus is on budget governance, value engineering, procurement strategy, resource optimisation, productivity, change management, cost-to-complete visibility, risk control and margin protection — without compromising engineering quality, safety or operational performance.

ENGINEERING → PROJECTS → BUSINESS

Over the years, my perspective has evolved from understanding how systems are engineered, to understanding how projects are delivered, and ultimately to understanding how engineering decisions create business outcomes.

Today, I evaluate every project through four connected dimensions:

  • ENGINEERING — Is the solution technically right?
  • INTEGRATION — Are Civil, MEP and other disciplines coordinated and constructible?
  • DELIVERY — Can the project achieve its milestones safely, efficiently and predictably?
  • COMMERCIAL — Is every major decision protecting cost, value, risk and profitability?

My ambition is to continue this journey at a broader leadership level, taking greater ownership across MEP, Civil, Design, Projects, Infrastructure, Strategic Operations and Commercial Performance.

My Professional Philosophy:

“Integrate the engineering. Optimise the design. Control the project. Protect the value. Deliver the outcome.”

And P&L ki signature statement:

“P&L is not the responsibility that begins after execution — it is the discipline that should influence every design, procurement and project decision from day one.”

What Makes This Profile Different

  • Design + Execution Understanding — ability to connect engineering intent with actual site constructability.
  • Technical + Commercial Thinking — decisions are considered for performance, cost, schedule, maintainability and business impact.
  • End-to-End Ownership — involvement from requirement and design through procurement, execution, T&C and handover.
  • Multidisciplinary MEP Perspective — HVAC, Electrical, Fire & Life Safety, Plumbing, ELV/BMS, MGPS and integrated systems.
  • Stakeholder Leadership — ability to align clients, consultants, vendors, contractors and internal teams.
  • Sector Diversity — experience across multiple complex building and infrastructure environments.
  • Operational Mindset — focus on what happens after construction: reliability, maintainability, performance and facility handover.
  • Problem-Solving Orientation — convert technical, coordination and execution constraints into structured decisions and closure.
